To help employees achieve this balance, we offer a comprehensive range of welfare and benefit programs. In addition to a five-day workweek with two guaranteed days off each week, employees enjoy approximately 130 days off per year, including planned long holidays that support rest and refreshment.
Company Dormitory
Komori’s dormitories for single employees are located for convenient access to the head office and manufacturing plants. Each resident has a private room, and the facilities include a dining hall, communal bath, and parking spaces.
With the opening of the Tsukuba Plant, the company established the Ushiku Dormitory nearby. The Ushiku Dormitory is conveniently located about a five-minute walk from JR Ushiku Station.
For employees assigned to the head office, as well as for women employees, Komori also provides corporate-leased housing.
Company Housing (for Families)
In addition to dormitories for single employees, Komori also provides company housing primarily for married employees.
The housing in Ushiku City (Ibaraki Prefecture) offers comfortable living space and facilities suitable for families.
Its convenient access to business sites supports both work–life balance and meaningful communication with family members.
Welfare and Benefits Services
Komori participates in a membership-based benefit program called “Fukuri Kosei Club.”

Subsidized Lunch Program
Most major Komori offices and plants have in-house cafeterias. Employees can choose from daily set meals, à‑la‑carte options, and desserts. The cafeterias are widely used every day.
Komori also provides financial support for lunch expenses, allowing employees to enjoy meals at a low cost.
Club Activities
To encourage employee interaction and relaxation, Komori supports a variety of club activities.
Employees may also form new clubs, and groups that meet certain criteria can receive company subsidies.
Clubs range from sports such as baseball, soccer, and tennis to cultural activities such as ikebana.
These groups create opportunities for employees from different departments and workplaces to connect and build relationships.
